Why I Started Hellava Leather Co.
I’ve always believed in the value of things built to last—whether it’s a friendship, a motorcycle, or a tool handed down through generations. But one day, staring at my old, worn-out wallet, I realized I couldn’t find anything on the market that felt like it had the same grit and soul. Everything seemed disposable, mass-produced, or overpriced for what it was.
So, I decided to make one myself. I got some leather, a few tools, and spent hours learning by trial and error. The first wallet wasn’t perfect, but it was mine—crafted with my own hands, built to endure the kind of life I live.
Friends noticed, then strangers. People started asking me to make one for them, and Hellava Leather Co. was born. I didn’t just want to create wallets; I wanted to make pieces that carry stories—yours and mine.
